Current Events
LARC continues to chart a new course that shares and promotes original ideas and products by offering a variety of special events. Activities focus on new and ongoing projects that blend literature, culture, translation, interpretation, learning strategies and curriculum development that span a range from beginning to distinguished level language skills. These multidisciplined/multileveled events that focus on language teaching, learning and research are scheduled throughout the year and include collaborative efforts, community outreach programs, language conference presentations, teacher training sessions, educational technology workshops, and distinctive summer institutes.
Faculty Seminars
LARC offers teacher training and technology workshops that give faculty important skills and knowledge that they can apply in their classes.
Summer Workshops and Institutes
Our Summer Institutes and workshops are intensive, multi-day training sessions in theory and practical application of language teaching skills and technology.
Conferences
LARC attends conferences all over the nation and the world to disseminate our projects and to seek out new theories, technologies and collaborative opportunities.
